Happy Monday! For many people, when Monday rolls around, happy is not the first word that pops into their head. They may grumble grumble grumble and say, ‘Monday? Not again! What happened to the weekend??’. And bleary eyed with sulking shoulders, they make their way through the haze and somber of Monday. But what if instead of gloom, we choose to bloom?!!
Let’s find the deliciousness in Monday by choosing 3 M’s for the week:
Moniker: What word do you want to focus on this week?
Mantra: What phrase can you repeat and replay this week to help you live out and stay mindful of your word?
Movement: What action can you take this week to put your word into action?
****Travelling back in time****At the beginning of this year, I chose a word to define the year ahead. It was my way of doing a New Year’s resolution. I thought this is going to be great! This is going to help define my year and stay focused! Well, I had it in my mind for the first 2 or 3 weeks; but then it went out the window as many other thoughts and things rushed in and cluttered the space in my head. ****Flash forward to now****: I remember this plan that I had in the beginning of the year. But, it didn’t work for me. Even if I did remember it for more than a few weeks; a year is a long time to stay focused on one word. Life changes too rapidly. Circumstances change that could impact where we need to go moving forward and affect what word is best at keeping us intentional in the moment.
So, going back to our delicious 3M’s Monday, here is what I have chosen for this week:
Moniker: Peace
Mantra: Be still and know that I am God.
For this mantra, as I repeat it, I plan on reducing it little by little each time:
Be still and know that I am God.
Be still and know.
Be still.
Be.
Movement: I really need to make time to meditate. This week I plan on devoting 10-12 minutes to meditation each day.
By focusing on 3M’s each week, we can nurture our minds, bodies, and souls and truly bloom!!

Thank you for taking this journey with me! If you feel comfortable, please feel free to share what your 3M’s are for the week in the comments!
